Soccer

We played our 3rd soccer game.. and we've tied everyone... The team really had a good game and was coach proud.. He's so competitive.. when they were up by one.. he told the kids if they lost they would have to wash his kitchen floor.. and if they won the coach would buy them an icecream.... boy does that motivate kids...

J's piano recital

J - did excellent at the piano recital... we're glad we get a break.. but J - did awesome... we had some 100 attendees!!!

Had a quiet weekend w/ only 1 hockey practice and 1 game... this is just warm up for the weekend.. with 2 hockey games, 2 practices, my 10km run, dad's company picnic... we'll be glad to be back to work come Monday!!!

Planted my pots yesterday!!! spent the majority of the day in dirt.. only to have dad.. wake me up at 11:30pm to advise me that there was a FROST warning!!!! what the heck.. it's almost JUNE!!


OK... dad's sister forgot to get him Elton Johns' tickets today.. now... I'm not the one that's going to tell him...he's going to be grumpy!!!!! his sister said she's going to have to win some!!! so best of luck to auntie!!!

Running in the rain!!!

10 days left til our 10K run.. and my personal goal is not to finish last... Last night I headed out for a 5.5k run in the rain... and well when your training you have to run in whatever weather mother nature has in mind... but running in the rain helps cleanze the system and wash away the grime in your life!!!!

Busy weekend

Had a great time in S-toon... ran into some old friends (well there not that old - cause they are the same age as me) but it was fantastic running into them!!! It amazes me how I send the hubby out to walk the dog.. and he comes back with friends from Ktown... and they can still party like we did in the 80's!!! the only thing different now is the hair and about 20lbs.... also met some friends that like to share wine w/ cuzin V.. I know what your thinking.. that that could be anyone.. but I'm trying to make the point that the world is very small... and that wine is good for you...

Hockey.. well we didn't win a game.. but we had a good time.. Camping was excellent.. weather was great... and hubby set the TV up so we could catch the finale of Desperate Housewives..

J- is practicing hard for her piano recital... and will be glad to take a break once it's over...

It sure is different this week with T- gone for the week to camp.. J is getting all the attention and I think she likes it!!!

Packing the trailer and J's first Soccer Match...

Very excited to pack the big trailer... we are headed to S-toon to go camping as T has hockey.... What could be better????.. hockey... golf... beer... and probably a sunburn...

Life is too busy sometimes... as I packed the trailer I was hoping that I would have a new one by now... but.. it seems like I have been too busy to put the for-sale sign up.... then if we do sell it who has the time to look for a new one... oh well with gas at $1.25+ maybe we'll be the envy on the hi-way pulling a 19footer...and only spending $100/tank to get somewhere... the way I see it.. more $$$ for beer and food....

J has her first soccer game tonight... can't wait.. and neither can Dad and T..it's quite the family affair.... Dad's coaching, Mom's managing, T's reefing and J's our little star player..

T has 2 games on Friday.. leaving at 5:30am.... 1 game on Sat.. 1 game on Sun.. and 1 on Mon....

12K run

I am so exhausted today.. completed a 12K run last night.. but before you get excited.. we've been training... but was still quite a feet for myself...shiet... it hurts today... .. now I am patiently waiting for the kids to get to bed so I can plop my butt on the couch for the evening..this was our last big run before the ""Little Big Run" .. thank goodness...

I got a picture frame from my girlfriend, and just in case I don't get around putting a picture in it right away she inserted a quote(she's a good buddy.. I'd have never thought of that) and it reads " Most people run a race to see who is the fastest.. I run a race to see who has the most guts" love it!!!

J had soccer practice tonight... and after reading cougar mama's blog.. I am very conscious to send the kids home tired... the only problem.. so am I!!!

TROUBLE

After the weekend

I updated my blog.. on Saturday after a quite a FEW glasses of wine.. didn't make much sense in the morning when I read it, however, I was going to change it but.. that's what makes it a blog... I know Chanel and Feeb's are going to laugh... and that's all that matters...

Of course there was the"walk of shame" the next morning and a few... times I had to ignore my cell phone.. in fear of payback!!!!! but all memories.. worth keeping.. good friends.. good wine.. and good times... (oh ya..thanks to Wayne Gretzky's vineyards... he can play hockey and make a good wine....#99)

Had a wonderful Mothers Day... and I hope everyone else had a wonderful Mother's day... I was very touched that the hubby and kids bought me a digital photo frame and filled it with pictures of the three of them...It will be perfect at work....

T- had asthma testing today.. and he tested positive.. we are off to the doctor this week to find out more....

Drinking wine with Friends!!!

OMG.. the best b-day ever.. drinking wine with friends and lovin life!!!! Drinking wine with my friend from Friends... lovin her to pieces!! haven't seen her in about 5 yrs... OH.. and Chanel!!! she's well on her way!!

Pre-Weekend...

Had a heck of a night at the mixed scramble.. it feel's good to hit a ball..and I out-drove.. some of the men.. and that makes me smile..:)

After the scramble I received my b-day gift.. a new bike.. I was so excited I had to show my running friends.. I also got a beautiful planter and a g/c for a pedicure from the bank ladies..I'm already having a GGRREEAT day and it's not even my b-day...

T is headed to the city to play hockey and the gals will follow.. leaving DAD at home by himself for the day??? what a good wife eh!!!

Update twice in one day....

OK I must be sick.... or have nothing else to do... NOT!!! Well we had soccer practice and we made our boys sweat.... our thery is...who cares if they learn anything.. if the kids are tired.. the parents will be pleased..!! Oh Ya... we were short a player..so I had to fill in...Those little buggers can run fast.. and like to laugh at me when I mess UP!!!

Off to ball.. my old neighbor is in town playing our boys.. should be a good time!!

And well the hubby is off swinging again!! Men's night you know.. he wouldn't want to loose his "man card"... whatever...

We headed off to the city... for hockey.. had a good weekend.. and got to spend some time with Oma and Opa...

Bought J some beautiful cloths.. only to have a slight argument when she refused to wear them on Monday.. cause they didn't feel right!!!!!

T got another 2 teeth pulled.... now with 4 down.. we are ready for braces... scheduled for June 9, 2008

Tonight is soccer practice... hopefully the sun shines the whole day...

Oh ya.... I have been a hockey widow for the past month and now.. I am a golf widow... (in my next life I'm coming back as a man!!!)
