Staying in my PJ's ALL day

Loving the fact that I got out of bed at 10:00... I have no running around.. no hockey.. no dance... It's just about me and hangn' out in my PJ's ALL day... What a treat!!!!

Tired after a 6.5K run

My crazy girlfriend... talked me into running a 10K with her and another friend.. and well yes... I agreed.. before I realized what I had done.. now we started training.. and... it's great to get out and you feel good.. it still hurts.. but that will hopefully get better...

The hubby headed to the city for another course.. he's getting used to only working a 4 day week... (wish I had it that easy)

Looking forward to tomorrow.. Friday... Nothing planned for the weekend except... sleeping in....

Back from Sherwood Park

Headed to SP yesterday to bond with friends... and have a few glasses of wine and a few laughs... (always a good time) and today... Thanks to J.... I was able to get my hair cut.... while she entertained the kidlins...treated them to lunch and kept them from fighting... The hair.. well its SHORT... but... I think it's a good cut... and it looks good..however.. we'll see how it looks tomorrow after I style it...

We also spent TyTy's B-day $$$ (I think it was burning a hole in his pocket)... so we bought a B-Ball net.. tried to bring it home in the car.. but after several attempts left it behind at J's and Dad will p/u tomorrow. ... I told TyTy he better practice his game as.. as mom used to play B-ball...he however is having a hard time imagining that I (at my height) could be of any competition to him....so he doesn't appear to be worried... but he better watch out...

4 day weekend

I wish every weekend was a 4 day weekend..

Cuz.. V.. came for a visit...great family... tons of laughs.. good...fun.. and lotsa wine.. wishing every weekend could be that good..Kids played a little road hockey and a little game cube.... We played some cards... and drank some more wine....


The kidlins are off for the week (spring/Easter break) .... So today.. My little lady has a friend over and my little man went to see a friend.. which leaves me and DAD at home.. with little interuptions to.... you know... clean the house!!!! but cleaning is over-rated so instead we are watching some hockey and curling on TV... Cleaning is NOT my strong point..

Back from Saskatchewan

OOOH... but driving can be a challenge... with the family... Just got home from seeing my "little" nieces and nephew... and when I say "little" I mean it!!! I had a wonderful time with them after they realized there auntie.. isn't all that BAD!!!! Then off to see Cheeko.. play hockey...just in under the wire.. it was his last game of the year....

Gotta go so I can clean the house... getting company from SK tomorrow..

Back from Red Deer

Meeting.... there are way too many... and they are way to far away... why is there always meetings when your so busy.. that you can't even focus...

My little man is on a sleepover and my big man is also away on course... so that leaves the girls in charge... looking forward to not watching HOCKEY on TV... maybe we'll watch a chick flick...

Tired as ever.. I was able to get our for about a 45min walk...

Off to Red Deer

Off to a meeting in Red Deer after work tomorrow... not sure why they have to be so far away.. maybe the drive will prove to be therapeutic..... and also a chance to listen to my music...

Headed to SK on the weekend.. for a night to eat some turkey.. visit with the family and watch Cheko... play some hockey... s/b fun...
